Where are they now?
Meet Melissa McCart, PharmD, MS

Starting my career as a Health Outcomes and Market Access fellow at Cencora in 2011 has had a profound impact on my professional journey. Over the years, I have had the privilege of exploring various roles and experiences within the company, ranging from working in HEOR to medical communications and market access. These opportunities have exposed me to a wealth of knowledge and insights that I never imagined I would have access to. Through these diverse experiences, I have not only expanded my expertise in different areas but also developed a strong foundation in strategic management of the business and leading teams.
Today, as the leader of the Commercialization Strategy & Access Solutions team, I am able to contribute to the growth and development of others while continuing to learn and grow myself. The early start at Cencora has truly shaped my professional trajectory and enabled me to make meaningful contributions within the organization.

FormularyDecisions® Research Assistants
The Research Assistant (RA) role at Xcenda is a unique opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career in managed care, industry, or consulting. RAs work in conjunction with the Product Management and Engagement teams to support FormularyDecisions®, a secure online platform that gives biopharma companies unrivaled access to healthcare decision makers (HCDMs) to support formulary decision making and promote the exchange of product information. Through this program, you may be involved in projects ranging from maintaining clinical content on the platform to supporting projects to promote customer and payer engagement, such as creating presentations and conducting research. This is a one-year, part-time remote role that may be renewed on an annual basis. Candidates pursuing a doctorate degree (eg, PharmD, PhD, etc) in health sciences are encouraged to apply. The application consists of a short 2 minute video interview, CV, letter of intent, and an example presentation from class. Our application cutoff is December 31st for positions that start in May.
